Below is information that will assist you with choosing our location for your event.
Be sure to read all of the information as many questions that you may have will be answered here.
Also, if you fill out the contact form, be sure to refer back to these sections as it will assist with completing the form.
Once the Contact Us form is filled out, we will send over a quote for your event. Be sure to fill out as much information as possible to receive the most accurate quote. Note that no quote or booking is final until we receive the deposit and signed contract.
The basic rental fee covers the rental room for up to 8 hours. Additional time may be purchased, based on availability.
Most renters use the first two hours of their 8-hour block to set up. Then, 5 hours for their event, then the last hour to clean.
For example, if an event is from 3 PM - 11 PM, most renters use 3 PM - 5 PM for set up, the event from 5 PM to 10 PM and then clean up from 10 PM - 11 PM.
It is important to advise us your time breakdown so that we can schedule the bartender(s), security and other staff as needed.
Please use the format above when entering the time(s) you wish to have the event.
Note that if the event lasts longer than 8 hours, there may be a charge to the deposit.
The basic price to rent the lodge is below. Keep in mind that numerous other factors are added, do not plan on just the cost detailed below.
Gardena Elks Member:
Tues/Thurs - $700.00
Friday - $1,350.00
Saturday - $1,750.00
Sunday - $1,000.00
Non Gardena Elks Member/Non Elks:
Tues/Thurs - $1,500.00
Friday - $2,000.00
Saturday - $2,500.00
Sunday - $2,000.00
A deposit is required to book your desired date. For Gardena Elk Members, the deposit is $500. For non Gardena Elks and non elks, the amount is $1,000.00.
The deposit is refundable approximately one week after the event, as long as there were no issues. Our contract will explain reasons in which deposits may be kept.
Every rental must have insurance. The Elks Lodge will charge the renter for insurance, however we will provide the one-day policy.
All beverages must be purchased at the Elks Bar. There is absolutely no outside beverages of any kind. This includes water, soda and alcohol.
Renters may choose to book additional Elks bartenders for their event(s).
We recommend 1 bartender for events up to 100 guests, 2 bartenders for events with more than 100 guests.
Any outside beverages that are brought in are subject to confiscation and the provider may be escorted off of property.
Each renter is responsible for their attendees following this policy. Rentals may be cancelled, due to beverages being brought in, without any sort of refund.
There are other items that can be purchased on a case by case basis.
This includes, but is not limited to a champagne or cider package.
All events require security, which the Elks provides by a reputable company, however the renter pays for within the contract.
The Gardena Elks does not provide catering. We highly recommend using a 'taco guy' or catering your meals.
Our kitchen is not available for use. Only storage of cold food (in our fridge) and heating up of food (in the oven) is allowed. There is absolutely no prep or cooking allowed.
Please take a look at our event calendar at the top of your screen. You can browse to see if the date that you desire is available.
Note that pending dates are not shown on the calendar. There are numerous dates with numerous interested renters, however we only book the date when we receive a deposit.
Please note, there are some instances in which booked dates have yet to be added to the calendar.
Dates are not booked until a deposit is accepted and a the contract is signed.
We would love to meet with you, however the first step would be filling out our form above by entering as much information as you can.

Please be advised that many questions can be answered by reading our contract, which is sent with the quote.
We do not allow walk-ins at this time.
